North Bay Ski Racing Club
VOLUNTEERS
The North Bay Ski Racing Club is a small club with a group of very hard working volunteers. Volunteers make these programs possible for your child.
Volunteers are needed in following areas:
Volunteers are needed in following areas:
1. Course Crew
Volunteers are required on race day to help set up course, tying on flags, installing snow fence, starters, timers etc.
2. Race Officials
This includes gatekeepers to ensure that all skiers go through all the gates, as well as starters, timers, etc.
A small number of other volunteers are required to help organize the racers at the top of the course and to make sure small children have someone to ride back up the lift with after their race.
3. Social
Help out with events during the season along with end of season BBQ, Fundraisers and Ski Exchanges .
4. Board Members
Devotes their time at meetings, races and with fundraisers, abling our race program to continue from year to year.
